Riley North had the perfect family,a husband and a daughter who loved her.

One night,they are both taken away in a drive by shooting.

Apparently,the killers wanted to set them as an example,as the husband was believed to have been part of a group of people who wanted to rob a drug lord.

She survived,although shut in the head. Instead of helping her,the justice system,portray her as crazy,and lets the killers go.

5 years later,Riley lives in a van on Skid Row. It seems she spent her time fighting,learning how to avenge her family.

The movie poster copies the street art of her as the angel of Skid Row. The name of the movie, Peppermint is given by her daughter's favorite kind of ice cream.

I personally enjoyed the movie,the acting was good,so were the fighting scenes.
