Predestination

Year of release : 2014

Run time : 1h33min

Genre : Sci Fi / Thriller

Cast : Ethan Hawke, Sarah Snook

The Australian movie is based on the short story 'All you zombies' by Robert A.Heinlein, and after having read the story I think I like the movie better.

The movie has two plot lines. The first, is about Ethan Hawke's character who is a temporal agent trying to find and stop the fizzle bomber terrorist; the other, tells the story of a very smart woman who yet, somehow didn't achieve much in her life due to circumstances. These two plots intertwine, and what comes out of it is going to blow your mind.

The movie is about the paradox of what came first, the chicken or the egg.

The acting was good. Sarah Snook and Ethan Hawke are amazing! I don't know which one is better, Sarah who also plays her male version, who looks like Leo Di Caprio in the man make-up,or Ethan, who,at the end of the movie is facing himself.

The soundtrack was good.

The visual effects were great.

This is one of my favorite movies,I love everything about it,how the scenes merge with the soundtrack, just a pure masterpiece!

Predestination grossed 5.4 million dollars at the box office, against a budget of 5 million.

It received positive reviews, and many award nominations, Sarah Snook winning Best Actress award at the Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts Awards and the Film Critics Circle of Australia Awards, the movie winning Best Sci Fi Film at the Toronto After Dark Film Festival.
