Princess Aurora is a movie about a mother who, after the death of the daughter she loved very much, she goes mad,and goes on a k!lling spree.

The movie starts right off the bat with the woman k!lling another woman in a women's bathroom, after the other woman beat a little girl in front of her,and then in the bathroom stall.

We then see her k!lling people at random, people who apparently have no connection one to the other. At first I thought she was triggered by what they said or did,as it reminded her of her daughter she either lost or I thought maybe she wanted children and couldn't have one.

It's soon established the woman had a child who died in mysterious circumstances(to us),as she keeps on playing the tape of the little girl singing a song.

The detective investigating the case, starts suspecting her,as she is his ex wife.

The police find Princess Aurora stickers at all the murder scenes(Princess Aurora is a South Korean animation television series) ,which were the little girl's favorite cartoon.

SPOILERS -------

She k!lls the people who were connected to her child's death, from the people who had to take care of her,and threw her on the street,to the people the mother entered in contact with, and stopped her from reaching her daughter sooner, to the lawyer who put her daughter's crim1nal in a mental institution.

STILL SPOILERS Also, she cuts her hair the way her daughter had her haircut.

I liked how everything she did,to the way she cut her hair or dressed, was to express how much she loved her daughter.

The movie is really good, worthy of a Hollywood movie. Watching it I didn't realize it was so old,I thought it was a new movie! I realized it was old due to the tapes and the old cell phones.

The actors were fine, especially the female lead, actress and singer, Uhm Jung-hwa.

The soundtrack was good.

The movie was nominated for Best Actress and Best New Director, at many South Korean Movie Awards, and won most of them.

The movie is streaming on AppleTv.

Rating : Worth a watch !
