The movie is a loose remake of the 1980's movie of the same name starring Jamie Lee Curtis.

 

One night,after coming home from a night out with her best friend, Donna finds her father and brother stabbed, and hiding under the bed, sees her mother stabbed by a teacher who is obsessed with her.

 

3 years later, is prom night,and Donna still has nightmares. She stopped taking her pills for 2 weeks now,because she wants to be present,to remember what is supposed to be one of the best nights,if not the best night of a teenager's night, prom night.

 

The night started well, she and her friends rented a limo, one of her besties is fighting with her boyfriend as always, but she feels uneasy.

 

Little does she know, the mad teacher escaped the mental institution / prison he was in,and ended up at the same hotel they have their prom.

 

The movie is a classic Halloween slasher film, but I don't like movies in which people kill for the sake of killing,even when they have an obsession with the lead .

 

The actors were all great, so were the visuals.
