This movie, written by Paul W.S. Anderson, and directed by Alexander Witt, is the second installment of the franchise, bringing into play the original character of the video games, Jill Valentine,played by Sienna Guillory .

The action starts were it ended in the first one,something they never do after this.

The movie starts with Jill coming home,probably from a date.She hears the news on tv and leaves in the date outfit(why would anyone do that?!) for the police station.

A weather girl films everything as she wants an Emmy.

 

Matt from the first one is now project Nemesis,a hulk-like figure,terribly disfigured,and the biggest concern of the Umbrella Corporation,or just the scientist's or whatever he was,was to see Alice and the Nemesis Project fight,while the world was taken over by zombies! He just wanted to see which of them was superior!

 

I personally didn’t like it.It felt the movie lacked substance ,but the action scenes were great as always.

Milla appears after 18 minutes.

 

Milla and Sienna are,I'm sorry to say,because I like them both, very bad at acting in this one.

The comic relief was funny.

Needless to say, all but the leading characters end up as zombies or dead.

 

I hated the soundtrack. As good as these movies soundtrack usually is,as bad as this one was.

I hated Milla’s outfit,they, most of the time, give her the ugliest clothes.

The movie received negative reviews from critics but was nominated for a few awards and even won some .

Cinema Score audiences rated the movie a B, on an A+ to F scale.

It made 129.3 million dollars against a budget of 45 million, more than its original.
