Tau is an artificial intelligence controlling the house.

A small time thief is kidnapped one night from her house and wakes up imprisoned.

She manages to break free from the holding cell along with other three people, but they are killed by a robot and she’s the only one left.

Because the holding cell is destroyed, she needs to literally live on the hallway of the house while the owner / kidnapper, a computer AI genius reconstructs the area.

He inserted a chip at the back of her head, and she soon finds out he needs the information in it,which as soon as it’s taken out will kill her.

She decides to befriend the AI and they exchange information,as the AI loves music, and wants to learn more about the world.

She soon discovers that in order to keep the AI in check, the mad genius is deleting parts of its memory when it “disobeys”.

She gets the chance to escape but she doesn't have the heart to leave the AI behind, which is being punished by the owner.

The action takes place inside the house, giving it a claustrophobic vibe. We don’t know what’s outside,we don’t even know how the house looks, there are no windows,it looks like it’s underground.

The acting is good. And Ed Skrein and Gary Oldman are two of my favorites.

Rating : It's so money !
