In the not so distant future,the so called global warming turns parts of the American Midwest into a desert.

Trying to take hold of the economic recession, a government agency known as the Humanity Bureau expels members of society deemed unproductive, and banishes them to a colony known as New Eden.

Things are not what it seems on the surface: - there’s no water,and what they have they have to boil ,but the rich ones have pools filled with water in which they bathe & swim.

-They tell people there’s radiation involved - from what?! - so they won’t go to certain places and keep them contained, but there’s no such thing.

SPOILERS  New Eden is a sham,as they gas and cremate the people. As they say in Soilent Green,’Soilent Green is people!’

The acting was good,but the visual effects were pretty bad.

Rating : Could have been a contender !
