This movie has a great cast, Denzel Washington, Rami Malek and Jared Leto, starts so well, but they eff it up at the end as they leave the movie unfinished,as they don't solve the case.

 

A serial killer strips women naked after killing them and puts a bag over their head leaving them in certain poses in certain places. Some of them even have bite marks on their face.

 

Deputy sheriff Deke ends up helping famous sergeant Jim Baxter with the case as Deke thinks it might be the same guy he was after years ago when his career took a different turn.

 

As their investigation goes deeper they find a certain individual whom they think to be the killer.

 

SPOILERS

It doesn't seem to be him,as they didn't find anything at his place, but the guy ends up being k!lled by Baxter as the guy keeps on pushing his buttons.

So,the movie ends 2 hours and 7 minutes into it,without revealing who the serial killer is,but revealing something about Deke's past which looks a lot like what happened now with Baxter.

 

The acting was great, Jared Leto was amazing as always, he's always a joy to watch. Rami Malek, again, I loved how he built his character ,his mimic. Denzel was great as always.

What can I saw,I enjoyed the movie until I realized it wasn't gonna be about who's done it,but about personal demons.

 

The movie is streaming on HBO Max, and is for rent or sale on Amazon, Apple, DirecTv, Google, Microsoft, Redbox, Vudu, YouTube.
