The buddy cop comedy was directed by Keenen Ivory Wayans, who also co-wrote and co-produced it with his brothers.

FBI agents Marcus Anthony and Kevin Copeland are working undercover to catch drug dealers selling dr@gs as ice cream. Unluckily for them, they rush to conclusions, and get the wrong people, so when the real dealers show up, they get away.

Marcus has a very jealous wife, who calls him when he’s working (even his boss, to check on him), and thinks he’s cheating because he left the bar he was at with his partner at 7:45, and he got home at 8!!! He came home tired, and she didn’t cook dinner for him as punishment for being late, and wants to “communicate”, but he falls asleep on the table.

Andrew Wilson, the CEO of Wilson Cruise Lines, sent the FBI the letter he received from a kidnapper who’s targeting his daughters. So, they are gonna follow them around and set up surveillance. Asking his agents who wants to go get them from the airport, no one does, as they read their profiles, and when Marcus and Kevin walk in, their boss sends them to get these girls.

The girls come with an attitude and a lot of baggage. Their dog has to ride on the front seat, and they put Marcus in the trunk.

Due to the fact the girls want them to open the window for their dog, Baby, to get fresh air, the dog almost falls out of the window, and they crash into the side of the road. One of them has a broken lip while the other has a cut on her nose.

At the hotel, the girls are angry and about to have a “bitch fit” and write a letter to their superiors.

Kevin scares them into spending the whole time in the hotel, as they don’t want to be seen with cuts (minor cuts) on their faces.

Afraid they’re gonna lose their jobs, they call their disguise team, who make them white women body suits, turning them into a bulk up version of these two girls.

Marcus and Kevin get to the Hamptons dressed up as the girls, and start acting the way they saw the girls did with them. When asked for their IDs they have the kind of fit the girls did earlier, to get out of it, as they didn’t have the girls’ IDs.

They meet the girls’ friends and their enemies, with whom they have a verbal stand off, winning it. Kevin sees a reporter he’s interested in, and Marcus’ disguise catches the eye of a famous basketball player.

One of the real girls’ besties,Karen, is in love with Keith, a man who only uses her, as he dates one of the Vandergeld sisters.

Their friends take them shopping, and Marcus’ jealous wife calls him, hearing him talking to the clerk woman who is helping him put tight clothes on, and gets the wrong idea.

At the party, due to the fact they fought with the Vandergeld sisters earlier, they get the worst table in the room being hit by the help constantly. Marcus as one of the Wilson sisters is entered in an auction competition, and has to go on a date with Latrell Spencer, the famous basketball player, who only dates white women.

Kevin uses this opportunity to get the man’s car and house keys to woo the reporter he likes.

While having lunch with her bestie, Marcus’ wife’s card gets declined as apparently she spent 4000 dollars on a dress in the Hamptons, and now thinks for sure, that Marcus is cheating on her, and is adamant on catching him in the act.

This is one of my favorite movies, I laughed with tears the whole time. It’s a feel good time movie with character growth. Most of he characters are likeable, even the Vandergeld sisters (because they are funny with their rich girls antics), except maybe for the guy Karen is in love with. Honestly, nobody is that horrible in the movie, they’re all Ok.

Marcus and Kevin befriend the girls who are friends with the Wilson sisters as they have to spend most of the time together. Kevin might even get a girlfriend out of this undercover mission, although he lies to her he is Latrell as she found herself say when they sat at the D list table at the auction that she doesn’t mind being “wined and dined by a rich guy” as she’s sick of all the losers she dated.

Marcus and Kevin end up appreciating the work the women put into looking good for them, through wearing women’s clothes and befriending the 3 girls.

There’s even a dance stand off in there.

The actors were great.

The soundtrack was good.

The visual effects consisting of the brothers in drag, were good, although they didn’t look like women, maybe like women who had a lot of plastic surgery done.

The movie received negative reviews from critics (15% on Rotten Tomatoes and 41 on Metacritic) but good reviews from the audience (55% on Rotten Tomatoes, and a 6.8 score on Metacritic).

Cinema Score audiences graded the movie a B+.
